
The coolest thing about Windows 7 is the new paint! The biggest change in ages to the programme, and about time!

Before I’d even heard of Photoshop paint was the only image editing programme I had access to. This was ok at the time as it was only used for school work – mainly print screening stuff.
The most annoying thing was at the end when I went to save the image, we only had about 20mb of disk space at school so the other formats were to large, the only option was a jpeg.
Paint always saved jpegs it at a low quality degrading the image. It was annoying after working hard on something having to save it in that format loosing the quality.
Having played about with Windows 7 I thought I’d see if the quality had got any better… and It has! The image is much clearer as you can see below, the image on the left is from Windows Vista, the one on the right is from Windows 7
